PUTRA DOSHA -

Main cause of Putra dosha is past life deeds. Putra dosha indicates one would have been unkind to his child or children in the past life.

There are 9 types of Putra Dosha -

1. No child issues after marriage.
2. No male progeny
3. No comfort through children
4. Young age children get disease and duffer for long time.
5. Children born handicapped
6. Children abandon parents and runaway from home.
7. Children not good natured and torture parents
8. Children kill parents for wealth.
9. Children loose life and have short life.                                                                                                       

To evaluate Putra Dosha

1. For women both 5th and 9th house has to be seen.

  The 5th indicates the nature of the womb and  conception, and 9th house the child.

2. For men 5th house only has to be seen
3. If Saturn & Venus are present than it can be girl.
4. Jupiter, Sun and Mars indicate boy.
5. 5th house Mars - C section.
6. Rahu in 5th house delays child birth/abortion
7. The aspects to 5th house are also equally important.
8. Ketu 5th house miscarriage.
9. Budha 5th house - premature baby
10. Saptamsa chart also give good indication of the children.
